taih bhujyate – sukhena anu bhuyate iti bhojanam
The Lord is Bhojanam because He is enjoyed with pleasure by His devotees.
Bhojanam in the literal sense means food or it can also be said as the means of sustenance. In nature, one object becomes the means of sustenance of another object. The Lord is the one who maintains this balance and sustains everything. He ensures the objects of this world are fit for enjoyment, and He also becomes the object of enjoyment Himself when His devotees overcome the desire for material objects of enjoyment and long for Him.
Daivee hyeshaa gunamayee Mamamaayaa duratyayaa
Maameva yeh prapadyante Maayaametaam taranti te (BG 7.14)
This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it.
Lets chant the Holy name of the one who is the enjoyer and the object of enjoyment and seek to overcome all material objects of enjoyment.
