Vishnusahasranama

Bhuta-Bhavya-Bhavat-Prabhu: Lord of past, present and the future.

Krishna is the lord of all created beings from the past, present and future. The Lord’s wealth/Aishwarya is not limited by time, place or a person. He is the lord of time/kaala, so there is no limit to his wealth. Anyone can chant His Holy name at anytime, anyplace and anywhere.

vedāhaṁ samatītāni vartamānāni cārjuna

bhaviṣyāṇi ca bhūtāni māṁ tu veda na kaścana (BG 7.26)

O Arjuna, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities; but Me no one knows.

Unlike the ordinary human being, Lord Kṛiṣhṇa clearly says that He completely knows what happened in the past, what is happening in the present, and what will happen in the future. He is unaffected by actions of the past, present and future. We the living entities are affected by our actions. Our past actions decide our present and future situations.

By chanting this Holy Name of the Lord of Time- the Past, the present and the future let us desire to serve Him through All Times. Let us seek to be in His devotional service in the present and even in Future.
