The Supreme Lord Krishna is the cause this Universe is created and He is also the instrument of creation. The first created being Brahma is responsible to create other living beings. The Lord’s expansion Rudra is the annihilator of the living beings.
ātma-māyāṁ samāviśya so ’haṁ guṇamayīṁ dvija
sṛjan rakṣan haran viśvaṁ dadhre saṁjñāṁ kriyocitām (SB 4.7.51)
The Lord continued: My dear Dakṣa Dvija, I am the original Personality of Godhead, but in order to create, maintain and annihilate this cosmic manifestation, I act through My material energy, and according to the different grades of activity, My representations are differently named.
Let us chant the Holy Name and bow down to the creator for this wonderful creation! Let us be grateful for this creation and seek to be in His devotion always.
