Bhavanah: One who regenerates all

Lord Krishna is known as Bhavanah, which means the origin of all. Both in the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagvatam there is clear reference which mention that the Lord is of everything. Arjuna thus addresses the Lord as can be seen in this Shloka.

svayam evatmanatmanam vettha tvam purusottama

bhuta-bhavana bhutesa deva-deva jagat-pate (BG 10.15)

Indeed, You alone know Yourself by Your own potencies, O origin of all, Lord of all beings, God of gods, O Supreme Person, Lord of the universe!

In the Srimad Bhagvatam, Krishna mentions clearly to Maharaja Chitraketu that He is indeed the Origin of all – living and non-living.

ahaṁ vai sarva-bhūtāni bhūtātmā bhūta-bhāvanaḥ

śabda-brahma paraṁ brahma mamobhe śāśvatī tanū (SB 6.16.51)

All living entities, moving and nonmoving, are My expansions and are separate from Me. I am the Supersoul of all living beings, who exist because I manifest them. I am the form of the transcendental vibrations like oṁkāra and Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Rāma, and I am the Supreme Absolute Truth. These two forms of Mine—namely, the transcendental sound and the eternally blissful spiritual form of the Deity, are My eternal forms; they are not material.

Lets chant the Holy name of the Lord and understand clearly that everything comes from Him and Him alone.

Nama 32 – VishnuSahasranama
