Vidhaata means the protector/inducer of our actions. Krishna is the protector, the one who shows His causeless mercy on the living entities. Protection can be referred to as Poshanam.
poshanam tad anugrahah
“Protection (poshanam) is the causeless mercy of the Lord.”
For all living beings in this material world, Poshanam means something material. The Lord is the one who fulfills the desires of all living entities.
nityo nityanam chetanash chetananam eko bahunam yo vidadhati kaman
“The supreme eternal among all eternals, the supremely conscious among all the conscious living entities – it is that supreme one among the many who fulfills the desires of all.”
For one who is on the path of devotion, protection means the causeless mercy of the Lord. He protects one from Maya’s influence. He protects and gives the strength o=to be engaged in His devotional service always.
Lets chant the Holy Name and seek to be protected from the influence of Maya and be in His protection always steadily in devotion to Him.
