Achyutah – Infalliable one

Chuti means fault. Achyuta means one who is faultless or infalliable. This also means one who never slips. The Lord never leaves or abandons His pure devotees.

yasmaat na cyuta purvo’ham acyutastena karmanaa – MahaBharata Santi Parva 12.330.16.

I have never abandoned (my Bhaktas), because of this act of mine, I am known as Achyuta.   tebyah prapannebhyah na apagatah Achyutah – He is never away from those who have sought refuge in Him.

krishnanarayanana cyaavayati iti Achyutah – One who does not let His devotees slip

Arjuna refers to Krishna as Achyuta, the Lord has taken upon Himself to be his charioteer and He will never let him slip.

The Lord does not falter at any stage during the sequence of events from His Appearance to His disappearance.

Patim Vishvasyaatmesvaram Shaasvatam Shivam Achyutam as stated in the Narayana Upanishad – He is the Lord of this Universe, Lord of the Beings, Eternal, Auspicious and is free from slipping or changes..
