Vishnusahasranama

Amoghah: One who graces His devotees with His Devotional Service.

The Supreme Personality Krishna graces His devotional service to those who become attached to Him.

sa vidhasyati te Kaman harir dinanukampanah
amogha bhagavad-bhaktir netareti matir mama (SB 8.16.21)

The Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is very merciful to the poor, will fulfill all of your desires, for devotional service unto Him is infallible. Any method other than devotional service is useless. That is my opinion.

Amogham darshanam Rama na ca moghah tava stavah  |
amoghaaste bhavishyanti bhaktimantashca ye naraah      || (Ramayana Yuddha Kanda 120.31)

O Rama! A sight of You is never futile.  The praise of You is also never futile.  Those who are endowed with devotion to You, will always be successful in their life”.

Poojitah Stutah Samsrutah Vaa Sarvaphalam Dadaati Na Vrithaa Karoti iti Amoghah (Sri Adi Shankaracharya)

Whether worshipped or praised or just remembered with true devotion, He gives desired fruits, does not allow it to go futile hence He is called Amoghah.

The Supreme Lord is very merciful towards one who is attached to Him through devotional service and does everything to care for him, however for one who approaches the Lord without any devotional service, it will be useless.

Lets chant the Holy Name of the graceful Lord. Devotional service is the only way to approach the Lord and seek His mercy and blessings. A devotee has no material desires or wants. His only desire is to serve the lord at all times. May we be blessed with such a desire to serve only Him and Him, as any material desire is never eternal or transcendental, they expire with time.
