Vishnusahasranama

Vararohah   – Supreme Ascent

Varam means Supreme and Arohanam means ascent. The Lord is the Supreme object of attainment.

The Supreme Lord – Vasudeva is included in the ‘Para’ form.  The ‘Vyuha’ forms are in charge of the Creation, Sustenance, and Destruction, mention the sastras and also explain their significance. These Vyuha forms also give the fruits in accordance with the rules laid down therein. They also help us in understanding about worship of the Supreme Lord.   The six qualities of the Para roopa or the Supreme Lord is distributed amongst the four Vyuhas (Vasudeva, Samkarshana, Pradyumna and Aniruddha) and each has its own form and duties.  They are the means for the attainment of salvation.  The Samkarshana form is associated with knowledge and strength.

Lets chant the Holy Name of The Supreme Lord who is the object of attainment for all self-realized souls. Any other object desired to be attained by us is temporary as it all perishes with time. Only permanent attainment which will remain with us forever is the Lotus feet of the Supreme Personality of Godhead – He is the Supreme Ascent – the Vararoha.

Nama 122 – VishnuSahasranama
