The splendor of the sun, which dissipates the darkness of this whole world, comes from Me. And the splendor of the moon and the splendor of fire are also from Me.
One should simply try to understand that the splendor of the sun, the splendor of the moon, and the splendor of electricity or fire are coming from the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
The story of the marriage of Pradyumna with Usha will exlain this moe nicely. Usha was the daughter of Banasura and was an ardent devotee of Goddess Parvati. Mother Parvati once appeared to her and said that she should marry the person she sees in her dream and she would be very happy then.
Usha very soon had a dream in which a very handsome young man appeared. She confided this to her best friend Chitralekha, who was a very gifted artist. She said she would help her identify who it is by drawing pictures of the 10 most handsome men in the world. She first drew the Lord of the Universe- the Supreme Personality of Godhed, Sri Krishna as the Numebr 1. Usha said He was indeed most handsome, but He was not the one who had appeared in her dream. Next Usha was shown the drawing of Lord Krishna’s son – Pradyumna. Usha said He was definitely Handsome, but not the one who appeared in her dream. Then Cjitralekha drew Anniruddha and Usha said He was the one. But she also said, that had mother parvati not mentioned to marry the person whom she saw in her dream, she would have definitely married the No.1 Handsome person- the Supreme Personality of Godhead- Lord Sri Krishna.
Here, the Lord though was a grandfather, still looked and remained ever youthful and exhibited the splendor surpassing His own son and even grandson. It had not diminhsed a bit too.
Lets chant the Holy Name of the one who shines and seek to Shine as His devotee, Bhakta and always remain in His service. Lets pray to the Lord to help us understand the devotional path and shine in it.
